Dermal fillers are hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers that can plump up areas with age-related volume loss. These include sunken cheekbones or under-eye bags. These volumizing formulas can restore symmetry and enhance facial features by filling fine lines and creases. This includes lip injections for lip augmentation. Hyaluronic Acid is a naturally occurring molecule found in the skin. HA retains water, keeping the skin hydrated, plump, and youthful-looking. When formulated as a filler, HA acts as a volumizing substance mimicking the naturally occurring collagen in our bodies. These cosmetic injections are especially good at filling in wrinkles in the lower portion of the face. Popular treatment areas include fine lines around the nose and mouth.
At our clinic, we offer Juvederm, Restylane and bio-stimulators such as Sculptra and Radiesse to help with volume loss and improve skin quality. Both Restylane and Juvéderm are soft tissue fillers composed of Hyaluronic Acid.
Dr. Joseph Castelli
Dr. Joseph Castelli has been performing cosmetic injections for over a decade. He was introduced to the aesthetic field by Dr. Lee, a close friend.
He performs the same micro-dot Botox injection technique as Dr. Lee and also the advanced filler injection technique using the micro-cannula. Dr. Castelli’s detailed eyes and his emphasis on safety while having a keen aesthetic eye is why Dr. Lee pursued him to join him. This is also why Dr. Lee allows only Dr. Castelli to perform his botox and filler treatments.
Dr. Castelli began his aesthetic career by treating his loyal base of thousands of female patients for the past ten years and decided to join our Lux Skin Lasers team to dedicate more of his time to the aesthetic field which he finds extremely rewarding. He loves how a single syringe of filler can make a face look revitalized and refreshed.
